What if our solar system had two suns as many others do?
Would solar energy be our main source of energy?
Yes because it would be there would be the double of energy.
2. Would there be times of the year when at least one sun was always in the sky?
I don’t think so because both suns would have the same energy unless they take turns rising.
3. How would it affect sunbathers?
The sunbathers would have to have less time in the sun or they will get a huge sunburn. The doubled the sun would mean that half of the usual time you are in the sun would be good for you.
4. Could you watch a sunrise and a sunset at the same time?
No because the sunrise rises in the morning and the sunset sets in the afternoon.
5. How would it affect gravity? Tides? Weather?
It would affect gravity by not being able to breathe easily, it would affect Tides because the water would get hotter and would dry up the water, and it would affect the weather by being more like a desert because it would be mostly hot instead of being rainy and sunny at the same time.
